Having started listening to "local radio" in 1985 (radio Birmingham) before that with my aunt, it is soul destroying to see what has gone on in local radio!

I listened in to Mollie Green's last show on Wm, at which she physically broke down emotionally!

Do these blank faces, paper crunching beaurocrats not realise that "local" radio means Local?

Personally believe it is a change to destroy all local radio, & perhaps has worked!

I No longer listen to Wm, nor Shropshire!

So glad I found Jim again though!😉👍🏻

Ok Jim.

Got to gather my thoughts before I let rip at most of life!

However, anger only brings hate, had over 2 years now retired, just getting over the whole process off the indignant way I was "processed" by my works!

As you my "friend" just hope life sees you "better"👍🏻

Thank you for sharing, Jim. Many thousands will miss your voice (as will be the same with Faye) but I’m sure we’ll find many other ways to hear you.

So sad as the BBC has gone the way of so many other businesses & organisations. They fail to realise & value that the people are the heart & most important asset of any business. And fail to acknowledge or take responsibility for the emotional & professional mill they put those people through in the pretence of good business. I hope you all find something better in life once you have got past this.
