I love the weekly 'Hello You Family Sunday Supplement' idea - I think you're back on facebook too. I had a notification to say you've liked my Suffolk Theatre page again - but you liked it before so that's weird?
If I'm faced with too much stuff to read I end up reading none of it. I'd say 5 each time would be plenty but that's just me - people can pick and choose what interests them - same a newspaper or magazine.
Sorry to hear that your Facebook account has been deep-sixed, Jim, although you seem to be coping admirably in it's absence.
You make their decision sound quite arbitrary. I run a few groups there and while their algorithms make some laughable errors at times, the inner workings of the place remain utterly opaque to me. Good luck with ever having an interaction with a real, actual Facebook human representative.
I'll second your remarks on Bluesky Social.
I've met some lovely and interesting people there, and it helped me to the realisation that Nagocdoches is a place that exists on a map (of Texas) and not just a metaphor.
So glad that Bluesky's working out as well for you as it is for me, Steve. Very glad to have met you on there. Someone needs to set up some guitar feeds, though.
Weirdly, after telling me I was a non-person forever, Facebook reinstated my account ... which I'm almost disappointed about!

Thank you, and thank you for the idea for a name! I'm wondering how many links would be too many ...

Hello 👋 totally agree re Bluesky 🤗
Btw I think "you're back" on FB... you have been reincarnated 🤯 or summat... 😬
Yes, I'm back from the FB grave! Weird ...
Weekly links good. I may return to Blue after I’ve got more tethered to threads.
Thank you. First batch of weekly links coming on Sunday. Will be interested in your thoughts
