I dunna know owt about mental health soz, but I thought I’d better let you know that in Shropshire we’d say that owd Billy Hooter was the oolert that woke you at four bells.
This inna only your first ever podcast, it is also the first ever podcast I’ve listened to.
Next time you’re feeling a bit fretchit you mun ask yourself “do I really wanna create another way for shroppiemon to pester me with his chunnerins?”
Great to hear you again mon, look forward to hearing a lot more
Thank you so much, Shroppie! Honoured to be the voice on the first podcast you've ever listened to. I hope you'll enjoy future episodes too. Maybe you'll even appear on one?
Well hello right back to you Jim. Sunday sounds scary and disorientating. I’m glad you were able to find some support to no longer be alone with that thought. And you’re among friends here (even if you have put at least me through digital non-native hell trying to navigate Substack!), so do keep doing your thing here. Will be listening, interested, and sending you good vibes. 💙
Thank you, Joanna. Sunday was pretty weird. Thank you for finding your way through the thicket of Substack, too! There are lots of interesting people here ... I'll keep doing my thing. More coming soon.
True to form I came in some time after this 1st foray into the (almost) unknown. Good sometimes to find what drove the start. Not an auspicious way but one I can certain relate to...just not too much of the sound effects PLEASE(but the recordings of nature are always welcome)
Hi Jim, it’s so wonderful to hear your voice again. Thanks for such a beautiful and heartfelt bit of audio that made me feel less alone. I’m so sorry how hard things have been recently and hope they ease up a bit for you soon. Take care, Lucy Heyman

Keep on keeping on Jim
Having recently found Jim again, I thought I should take time this Sunday morning, whilst preparing Sunday lunch to catch up with the Podcast's.
Shocked at your admission to the sad case of Matthew Perry, however its wonderful that it has spurred you on to actions to help these thoughts!
Your made to be heard Jim!👍🏻
Thank you, Nige, that means a lot. I've felt better since starting the Hello You podcasts. Good things can come from frightening ones ...
