A few minutes' peace and quiet, alongside a river in Shropshire. Recorded on the National Trust's Attingham Park estate, near Shrewsbury. Also contains mentions of cheese toasties, among other things
Thank you - love the soundscape: wind in the trees and all of the birds. Think I hard leaves rustling too.
THIS is why I go out for a walk in the forest every weeknd I can, to get my fix of fresh air and quiet. I find joy in this....The chainsaw sound, did not change the feel....You have to be present in the moment, dont you.
Final thought of a cheese toasty sounds lovely. :)
I thought the chainsaw added a little something! I'll admit to editing out the distant shouts of someone trying to call her dog, which were actually quite funny but undermined the mood somewhat ...
Been a while since I heard you sitting on a bench, used to enjoy those conversations.
If you’re switching mic configuration, does that mean you’ve got the Zoom H2 (maybe N variant) out of storage? 😎
Once more it’s good to hear you again, maybe meet on a bench in the new year. Take care of yourself.
It was good to be back on a bench!
Yes, all location recordings are done on my Zoom H2N. Having four options for micing is incredibly useful.
See you on a bench sometime soon!
That really soothed my mood today, think I may well listen to this before bed.
Made me think about how often I think I listen, but dont!
Thanks Dr Soundscape!
Glad it helped! I must record some more, people say they find them relaxing and grounding ...
