The Hello You Sunday Supplement, Issue 26
Your weekly guide to the good stuff! Positive content to read, enjoy and share
Hello, you. How’re you doing?
The sun is shining. The days are getting noticeably longer. Crocuses are joining the snowdrops, and daffodils are on their way. And every Sunday, I bring you a selection of carefully chosen pieces to read with your tea and toast.
You see, not everything’s all bad? I mean, sure, a hell of a lot of it is, and this has been yet another week of horrendous, shocking, dispiriting news … but this is why I bring you the Sunday Supplement: so you have something else to read and think about.
Ready for this week’s selection? It’s a pretty chunky serving today, so settle down …
But first: if you’re not yet a signed-up member of the Hello You family, pull up a chair to the Hello You virtual kitchen table by hitting this button:

The return of the bench!
Now the sun’s out again, I’m taking my recorder and my helpful signs from Battlefield Printing to sit on some benches and record some random conversations, which you’ll hear on future episodes of Hello You the Shropshire podcast.
Telford Samaritans in Wellington had a bench very kindly donated to them, and it’s been placed at their premises at 100 King Street. I’ll be on that bench tomorrow (Monday March 3rd) at 4pm.
The following day (Tuesday, March 4th) I’ll be sitting on a bench in The Square in Shrewsbury about 12noon.
I’ll record chats with whoever shares the benches with me. If you want to come along, it would be great to see you and hear what you have to say. And you can hear what happens on the benches on future episodes of Hello You the Shropshire podcast - so why not subscribe to make sure you don’t miss anything?
