Hello chums
A brief note to say thank-you for the new subscriptions, and the lovely comments on the first episode of Hello You. I really, really appreciate all of them, and they’ve eased my anxiety about opening up in front of a microphone again.
I’m already thinking about Hello You 2, which should be with you by the middle of next week, and I’m sorting out some interesting guests for you to listen to, as well. Any suggestions or nominations for people you’d like to hear in conversation with me? Email me jimallthetime@gmail.com or comment on here. Tell me who and why … even if it’s yourself.
If you’ve got this far and you’re still scratching your head and thinking ‘WTF?’, here (and below) is some audio I shared a couple of days ago. Have a listen, and tell me what you think? Contains candid discussion of mental health, some mild ranting about podcasts and audio production, kid-with-new-toy button-pressing, and Barbara Stanwyck. In the mildly unhinged words of The Chips: “Whaddaya want for nuthin’? Rrrrrrrubber biscuit?”
Can anyone suggest an easy way in which people can send me audio for inclusion in future episodes? What do the cool kids use for sharing voice notes or audio clips?
To tide you over until Hello You 2 appears, here are some lovely, funny people I met in Alveley a couple of weeks ago, for your listening pleasure: Alveley Age UK Day Centre
Hope Storm Ciaràn isn’t causing you too much strife. Take care of yourself. More from me next week.

I was going to say the same as @georgy!
